The effects of magnesium baths are that the skin absorbs the magnesium directly and that it detoxifies your body.
We recommend a temperature of around 37 degrees Celsius. The duration of the foot bath should be at least 20 minutes. Research has shown that a magnesium deficiency can be quickly and effectively remedied by a daily footbath.
For a footbath we recommend a maximum magnesium percentage of 5%.
The recommended concentrations for foot baths are:
5 litres of water with 200 g of magnesium chloride flakes results in a 2% solution.
5 litres of water with 400 g of magnesium chloride flakes results in a 4% solution.
5 litres of water containing 500 g of magnesium chloride flakes results in a 5% solution.
The recommended concentrations for baths are:
120 litres of water with 2 kg. magnesium chloride flakes results in a 2% solution. To remedy a magnesium deficiency, we recommend taking 2 baths per week for several weeks. The water should have a temperature of about 37 degrees Celsius, and the duration of the bath should be at least 20 minutes.
